Chris Baginski is the Director of Operations and Finance at Plum Island Partners (PIP). He is responsible for overseeing fund operations, portfolio accounting, valuation, and investor reporting for illiquid client portfolios. Prior to joining PIP in 2025, Chris was a Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman, leading the Private Equity Performance Reporting team. Earlier in his career, he was the Director of Valuations and Senior Controller at Reservoir Capital Group, a diversified private equity fund, and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chris graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with an MS in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Francis Gulotta is the Chief Technology Officer at Plum Island Partners (PIP). Francis is responsible for overseeing the firm’s Information Technology, Information Security and Quantitative Research Infrastructure across both companies. Francis is a member of the firm’s Risk and Information Security Committee. Prior to joining PIP in 2025, Francis was at Microsoft running programs to develop strategic cloud infrastructure for Azure. Before that Francis held various leadership positions across the tech startup, insurance and “big tech” industries including Shopify and Justworks. Francis began his career at Highbridge Capital Management where he eventually ran their Network Operations Center. Francis attended Rowan University majoring in Computer Science.

Dean Murphy is the Vice President – Treasury for Plum Island Partners (PIP). Dean is responsible for overseeing the firm’s initiatives related to portfolio financing, margin optimization, broker allocations, cash management, and collateral management. Prior to joining PIP in 2025, Dean served as a Vice President at Arcesium LLC in their Liquidity and Collateral Management division, where he spent the first decade of his career servicing Treasury at the D.E. Shaw Group. Dean graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics and Political Science.

Omar Qaiser is the Managing Principal at Plum Island Partners (PIP), New Holland’s internal investing and operations platform and is a Partner at New Holland Capital (NHC). He leads the day-to-day operations of PIP and is responsible for overseeing the trading operations, accounting, and treasury functions at the firm, in addition to providing strategic advice as NHC scales its internal trading capabilities. Previously Omar was the Global Chief Operating and Financial Officer at North Rock Capital Management, a multi-billion-dollar global long/short equities hedge fund. In that role, he oversaw operations, accounting, treasury, legal, compliance, and human resources. He was a member of the operating, cyber and AI committee and chair of the expense and valuation committees. Omar served as Partner and Chief Financial Officer at The Midway Group, a fixed income hedge fund. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on taxation from the University of Florida.
